Increased advocacy through collective strength – Solar industry professionals have the collective influence to advocate for improving solar related policies and participate in the regulatory process. MOSEIA’s Government Affairs team represents the Missouri solar industry at the State Capitol each session and at the court level when necessary.

Shape policies, procedures and priorities – There are opportunities for members to engage in a variety of ways including board positions and committee involvement.

Professional development tuition discounts – Discount registration on MOSEIA hosted professional development. Friends of Solar individual and student categories may only purchase one ticket per event.

Annual Conference/Evening Social – a member only event and the state’s largest solar event of the year. Programming includes prominent national speakers, awards luncheon, policy updates, networking with exhibiting sponsors and a board of directors election.

News and Social Media – our industry-focused e-news and e-mail updates inform members of state and national policy action alerts. Our social media platforms promote our member’s installs and industry developments.

Website Recognition – each membership excluding Friends of Solar (individual/student) receive a logo listing on the MOSEIA website.

MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES AND LEVELS

  • General Membership: Solar Installers, Distributors, Manufacturers, Solar Specific Financial Institutions, Real Estate Developers and Property Managers with Solar Projects.
    • $750 5 employees or less
    • $1,500 6 – 10 employees
    • $2,250 11 – 20 employees
    • $3,000 21 – 25 employees
    • $3,750 26 to 29 employees
    • $4,500 over 30 employees

    Employee count based on total employees including full time equivalent independent and sub-contractors. Each general membership includes the right to one vote, hold office, and chair committees.

  • Non-Profit
    $750
    Any non-profit institution or non-government entity participating in a venture utilizing solar energy or promoting solar energy is eligible for this membership. Excludes trade schools, community colleges or universities. Voting members may hold office and chair committees.
    Each Non Profit membership includes the right to one vote, hold office, and chair committees.
  • Associate Membership
    $500
    Includes the following: energy audit professionals/consultants, architects, engineering firms, municipalities, legal firms, corporate banking institutions and educational institutions with solar training programs/initiatives. Solar installation companies or employees of those companies are not eligible.
    An Associate membership is a non-voting membership and is not eligible to hold office or chair committees.
  • Friend of Solar
    $50
    Qualifying entities include: residential system owners, commercial system owners, individuals, and students enrolled in an accredited educational institution. Employees of solar or electrical businesses are not eligible for this membership category.
    A Friend of Solar membership is an individual non-voting membership and is not eligible to hold office or chair committees.

All dues must be renewed yearly to maintain good standing with MOSEIA.
